Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a data security professional to analyze real-world DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments. You will classify data sensitivity, assess exposure pathways, and review prevention/detection strategies for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations.
• Familiarity with DLP tools and data classification frameworks.
• Understanding of GDPR/HIPAA/PCI-DSS concepts is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to work independently.

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments
• Classify data sensitivity levels, exposure pathways, and policy violations
• Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident response strategies for accuracy and completeness
• Generate, label, and validate realistic data security cases used to train and evaluate AI systems
• Provide expert feedback that helps AI models understand how sensitive information is exposed and protected in modern organizations

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations
• Solid familiarity with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory concepts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
• Practical, hands‑on understanding of how data risk plays out in real enterprise environments
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and asynchronously on task‑based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS security tools
• Background in security engineering, information governance, or data privacy
• Familiarity with AI evaluation or data labeling workflows
