Job summary

Caleres, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Data Security Administrator to protect the organization’s data and oversee security controls across the enterprise.

You will analyze controls, implement improvements, and partner with auditors to ensure regulatory compliance while translating risk into business terms. The role requires a BS in Information Systems or similar and 3+ years in data security, cloud security, or security operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or similar field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in data security, cloud security, or security operations.
• Understanding of data classification and data discovery concepts (PII, PHI, PCI data types).

Responsibilities

• Manage security controls: Review, analyze, and evaluate the security controls used to protect the Corporation's data
• Process improvement: Ensure development, implementation, and continuous improvement of information security controls with minimal outage or loss of security controls
• Partner with internal auditors: Identify and resolve security compliance and assure processes are in place and being adhered to using relevant security and compliance standards
• Proper documentation: Log and documents actions taken including final resolution within the ticketing system
• Support business partners: Respond to business requests requiring security control changes and solicit accurate and complete business and functional requirements from subject matter experts
