Job summary

Caleres in Clayton, MO is seeking a Data Security Administrator to help protect our data and strengthen security controls across the organization. You will review security controls, drive improvements, collaborate with internal auditors, document actions in a ticketing system, and assist business partners with security requirements, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Information Systems or similar field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in data security, cloud security, or security operations
• Understanding of data classification and data discovery concepts (structured/unstructured data, PII, PHI, PCI data types)
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts as they relate to data access governance
• Ability to translate technical data risk findings into business risk language for non-technical stakeholders
• Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Privacy, IT, and application owners
• Strong documentation and process-design skills

Responsibilities

• Process improvement: Develop and continuously improve information security controls with minimal outage
• Partner with internal auditors: Identify and resolve security compliance using standards

What will you be doing?

• Manage security controls : Review, analyze, and evaluate the security controls used to protect the Corporation's data
• Process improvement: Assure the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of information security controls with minimal outage or loss of security controls
• Partner with internal auditors: Identify and resolve security compliance and assure processes are in place and being adhered to using relevant security and compliance standards
• Proper documentation: Log and documents actions taken including final resolution within the ticketing system
• Support business partners: Respond to business requests requiring security control changes and solicit accurate and complete business and functional requirements from subject matter experts
