STEMBoard is seeking a Data Scientist to integrate complex models and distribute large, clustered data sets. You will work with a team of data scientists and engineers to collect and arrange data for analytics, and build efficient data pipelines to serve downstream models and insights.

The role emphasizes designing, implementing, and maintaining pipelines, applying ML methods, and leveraging cloud-native platforms. Proficiency in Python, R, and distributed data frameworks is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in software engineering, data science or related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages and data science methods.
• Experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems.
• Security clearance: minimum of SECRET level.
• Proficient in Agile Development and Git Operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a data pipeline.
• Analyze complex data sets and plan ML projects on cloud-native platforms.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive modeling, NLP, and clustering.
• Work with frameworks such as Spark and Hadoop for large-scale processing.
• Create data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and R Shiny.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
