SpaceX is seeking a Data Scientist (Starlink) to develop strategy, metrics, tools, and processes for assessing Starlink growth and performance for tens of millions of users. You will collaborate with operators, subsystem engineers, software and network engineers, and external partners to scale the program.

The role emphasizes building data-driven solutions, automating metrics, and applying analytics and ML to improve network and service delivery across a global constellation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or a STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of professional data/software engineering experience (internship acceptable).
• Development experience in an object-oriented language (C, C++, Python).

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain infrastructure, tools, and software to assess growth areas for Starlink.
• Lead investigations into network-level issues.
• Automate metrics aggregation and detection of issues across Starlink.
• Establish relationships with engineering stakeholders.
• Apply data analytics to Starlink data products.
• Build data ingest, transform, and storage systems.
• Fuse data from multiple sources to create usable information.
