Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to build scalable data products and deliver timely data solutions as a single source of truth for growth initiatives. You will work across teams to mine data, run experiments, and present insights that shape product roadmaps.

The role involves developing data pipelines and dashboards, applying rigorous quantitative methods, and partnering with PMs, Ops, and R&D to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other science and engineering fields.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience navigating and working with large data sets using SQL.

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex datasets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
• Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop strategies for our products
• Identify and measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key product metrics to understand trends
• Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve the product, and drive roadmaps through your insights and recommendations
• Develop data pipelines and dashboards to enhance data infrastructure
• Collaborate with PM/Ops/R&D and other cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions
