Motion Recruitment seeks a Data Scientist to join a collaborative analytics and technology consulting team. You will work on forecasting, customer analytics, optimization, and predictive modeling across industries, partnering with stakeholders to drive measurable business outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on modeling, data storytelling, and deployment of ML solutions with Databricks, Tableau, and Power BI in a client-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of professional Data Science or Advanced Analytics experience.
• Strong Python development skills and advanced SQL experience.
• Experience building predictive models and ML solutions.
• Experience with forecasting, regression, classification, or segmentation.
• Databricks experience and familiarity with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Git or GitLab experience; strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science methods to forecast, analyze customer data, and support product and market strategies.
• Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Develop and deploy predictive models; contribute to data-driven decision making.
• Create visualizations and reports using Tableau or Power BI for stakeholders.
