Job summary

DataLab USA is seeking a scientist to build, implement, and maintain predictive models across the full lifecycle. You will identify patterns in data to inform strategic decisions and own client-driven solutions.

Monthly recalibration, complex ad-hoc analyses, and automation design are core parts of the role. The candidate should have strong quantitative credentials (MS/PhD or BS with relevant experience), extensive SQL, and Tableau/R Python skills.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in a quantitative discipline or BS with commensurate experience.
• Regular SQL use for querying data.
• Experience programming in at least one language (R or Python).
• Experience with Tableau or comparable data visualization.
• Experience with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement and maintain predictive models through their full lifecycle.
• Identify patterns and trends in data to inform business decisions.
• Take ownership of client strategy discussions and solutions.
• Set up and monitor monthly model recalibration.
• Generate complex ad-hoc analyses combining disparate concepts.
• Design and create analytic procedures and automation.
• Review corporate model scoring QC and data transformation QC.
