Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Science consultant to join the AI and Data Defense and Security team in supporting DHS missions. The role involves data analytics, visualization, and automation across large datasets, with hands-on work in Python, R, SQL, and Power BI.

Candidates must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and have 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI clearance required
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering

Responsibilities

• Assess and recommend opportunities to incorporate advanced analysis and automation
• Collect, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets using Python, R, and SQL
• Design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions using Power BI
• Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies to support investigations and decision-making
• Analyze processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization
• Summarize results and recommendations through reports and briefings
• Balance competing priorities including quick turn and ad hoc requests
