Strong skills in statistics, ML, and data visualization are essential for this role. The ideal candidate has experience with Tableau, GIS, Python/R, SQL, and excellent briefing and reporting abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or combination of education and experience in behavioral or social sciences or related field.
• Experience in data science, statistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Tableau, GIS, Python/R, SQL, and data visualization.
• Strong communication, briefing, and reporting skills; ability to present insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to use data analytic approaches to inform DDOT and District goals.
• Obtain, merge, reshape, clean, and evaluate data quality; automate data pulls and manipulations.
• Use descriptive and inferential statistics, ML methods to derive actionable insights.
• Create visuals and narratives; ensure work follows open science practices; document thoroughly.
