Job summary

Mediacom Communications is seeking a Data Scientist to join a cross-disciplinary team driving data-driven decision making across products, marketing, and customer acquisition. You will design, test, and deploy machine learning models, and own end-to-end analytics from data prep to reporting.

You will work with OBIEE or Tableau BI artifacts, build predictive solutions, monitor performance, and communicate insights to stakeholders while collaborating with outsourced and internal teams in a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on Data Scientist experience.
• Experience creating data architectures.
• Proven ML algorithms experience with advanced statistics.
• Knowledge of Ensemble Modeling.
• Strong Data Warehousing / Visualization skills.
• Excellent Python, SQL, and Database skills.
• Experience with OBIEE or Tableau; Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and write functional design documents.
• Analyze data to discover trends and patterns.
• Build predictive data models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Present information using data visualization techniques.
• Use predictive modeling to optimize customer experiences, churn, and ad targeting.
• Develop processes to monitor model performance and data accuracy.
• Liaise between business users and technical teams including outsourced members.
• Develop BI artifacts in OBIEE or Tableau.
• Process structured and unstructured data.
• Provide production support for day-to-day reporting issues.
