Chopine Analytic Solutions LLC is seeking a Data Scientist (Mid level) in Springfield, VA to support high‑priority GEOINT programs. The role requires TS/SCI with CI/Poly eligibility, heavy Python data work, and database integration across enterprise systems.

Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential for transforming data into actionable insights. The position is on site in Springfield with competitive compensation and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI/Poly.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in data science, automation, software development, data engineering, database integration, GEOINT support, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in Python and its data science and visualization ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash, Bokeh).
• Experience connecting multiple databases and enterprise systems to automate data collection, transformation, and dissemination.
• Experience automating repetitive tasks using scripts/workflows.
• Experience gathering and disseminating metrics and operational data.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement automation to improve workflow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI/Poly.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in data science, automation, software development, data engineering, database integration, GEOINT support, or related technical disciplines.
  • OR 5 years experience and a Bachelor's Degree
  • OR 3 years experience and a Master's Degree
• Proficiency in Python and its data science and visualization ecosystem, including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash, Bokeh, and related libraries.
• Demonstrated experience connecting multiple databases and enterprise systems to automate data collection, transformation, and dissemination.
• Experience automating repetitive business or analytic tasks using scripts and workflows.
• Experience gathering and disseminating metrics and operational data.
• Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement automation solutions that improve workflow performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

COMPENSATION

Base salaries at CAS are determined by various factors, including work location, an individual’s education, knowledge, skills, experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of CAS's total compensation package.
