Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical, quantitative, or technical discipline.
• 5+ years of business analytics experience.
• 5+ years in Python, Spark, Hive, and/or Scala in a cloud environment.
• 5+ years in SQL, Spark, Preseto/Athena/Hive/HQL or similar.
• Hands-on experience with logistic regression, time series, forecasting, optimization and predictive modeling.
• ML experience and deployment knowledge (MLOps, frameworks).
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and influence decisions.
• Preferred Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience with LTC products, claims, or actuarial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives from concept to execution.
• Partner with senior leaders to define problem statements and translate needs into data-driven solutions.
• Champion data science best practices, modeling approaches, and analytic design.
• Present insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop and deploy advanced models, ML tools, and predictive capabilities for LTC strategy.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights for action.
• Design repeatable analytics pipelines and model validation frameworks.
• Build datasets using SQL/SAS/Python/R; work with large data environments.
• Develop subject-matter expertise in LTC policies, claims, and customer behavior.
• Contribute to data modernization, cloud transitions, and scalable architecture.
