Job summary

Northramp LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to support a mission-critical effort to consolidate, modernize, and operate enterprise cloud services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.

You will develop analytical models, BI solutions, and AI/ML capabilities that help the client derive actionable insight from enterprise data, using Looker as the primary BI delivery platform.

The role is hybrid, based in the Washington, DC metro area with on-site client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on data science with production model deployment.
• Experience with Looker LookML modeling, dashboards, and content management.
• Experience training and deploying models in cloud environments.
• Strong foundation in statistics and data visualization best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain LookML data models and dashboards.
• Build and deploy ML models using Python and cloud services.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Develop feature pipelines and model training workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data quality.
• Translate mission requirements into analytic KPIs with stakeholders.
• Implement responsible AI practices and model explainability.
• Automate reporting and alerting workflows for stakeholders.
• Document methodologies and support ATO/audit requirements.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote data-driven practices.
