Job summary

Northramp is seeking a Data Scientist to consolidate and modernize enterprise cloud services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. You will build analytical models, BI solutions, and AI/ML capabilities to generate actionable insights from enterprise data, with Looker as the primary delivery platform.

The role spans statistical analysis, ML, and data visualization, supporting program operations and decision-making. Hybrid work in the DC metro area with client-site presence as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of progressive data science or analytics with production model deployment experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and SQL.
• Hands-on Looker/Likely LookML modeling and dashboard development.
• Experience deploying ML models in cloud environments (Vertex AI, SageMaker, Azure ML).
• Strong stats foundation: regression, classification, time series, A/B testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain LookML data models, Looker dashboards, and BI content for stakeholders.
• Build and deploy ML models for classification, prediction, anomaly detection, and NLP with Python and cloud services.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing on program data.
• Develop and maintain feature pipelines, model training workflows, and serving infra with cloud data platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data quality and complete analytics datasets.
• Translate mission requirements into analytical KPIs and problems for data teams.
• Follow responsible AI practices including explainability and bias assessment; document validation metrics.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote data-driven decisions across the team.
