3M seeks a Senior Data Scientist to collaborate with global teams and translate complex data challenges into scalable digital solutions. You will drive predictive modeling, ML, and simulation across lab automation and product platforms, owning pilots end-to-end from ideation to impact measurement.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in science/engineering and 5+ years in data science. The role is on-site at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN, with travel and relocation support as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in science, math, or engineering with strong data-science foundation.
• Minimum five years in data science, modeling, ML, or related technical work.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, develop, and implement digital science capabilities to accelerate R&D and product development.
• Apply data science, predictive modeling, ML, and simulation to complex challenges.
• Serve as liaison among scientists, developers, and data teams to realize scalable solutions.
• Own pilots from opportunity to adoption, with governance and measurable impact.
• Translate technical outcomes into actionable workflows and business value.
