  • Developing, validating, implementing, and improving predictive, statistical, machine-learning, and simulation models for formulation, process, application, performance, and other high-value technical challenges.

  • Defining laboratory data requirements and acquiring, cleaning, normalizing, and structuring sparse or unstructured data; partnering with digital and data teams to improve data quality, accessibility, usability, and reusable structures.

  • Partnering with product developers, laboratory scientists, subject‑matter experts, Corporate Research Laboratory teams, and digital technology teams to translate technical challenges into scalable digital solutions and integrate models into usable workflows or applications.

  • Owning pilot delivery from opportunity identification through implementation and adoption, including scope, priorities, milestones, technical decisions, dependencies, validation, governance, stakeholder alignment, measurement of business impact, and contribution to the long‑term Digital Lab roadmap.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline.

  • Experience with design of experiments, formulation or materials data, laboratory data systems, historians, connected instruments, or R&D data workflows.

  • Experience building data pipelines or model-ready datasets and applying data-governance, metadata, lineage, security, and reusable-data-model practices.

  • Experience deploying models through cloud, MLOps, application, or workflow-integration approaches and driving adoption of digital tools and practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical workstreams, influence multidisciplinary teams, communicate complex results clearly, and translate technical outcomes into measurable R&D or business impact.
