The Opportunity

Data Scientist III - FMIC Data Science (DAT Solutions, LLC, Beaverton, OR):

1. Lead research projects and mentor team members (20%)
2. Collaborate with ML Engineers to develop new products (20%)
3. Evaluate and improve existing ML and statistical products (10%)
4. Continue professional learning in modern cloud-based data science tools and practices (5%)
5. Review code for data science researchers and ML engineers (20%)
6. Assist product teams in data collection and granularity decisions (5%)
7. Build model monitoring tools (10%)
8. Recommend new analytical tools and research methods (10%)

Qualifications include experience with cloud tools (AWS, GCP, Azure), expert-level Python, Docker, ECR, JFrog, experience in freight and logistics industry data science, incident response for cloud models, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Snowsight), end-to-end ML experiments, shared repositories like GitHub, GenAI, state-of-the-art algorithms, machine learning, statistics, advanced SQL skills, and a relevant degree with experience requirements as specified.
