Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 5+ years of data querying languages (SQL), scripting (Python) or statistical software experience.
• 3+ years of ML/statistical modeling and data analysis tools.
• 1+ years of experience working with or evaluating AI systems.
• Experience communicating complex concepts clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize complex problems with product managers, engineers, other scientists, and leadership.
• Interview stakeholders to translate business problems into data science or analytical projects.
• Design, develop, and evaluate innovative statistics and ML models.
• Establish scalable, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, validation and deployment.
• Identify business opportunities and provide data-driven solutions using Amazon data and industry best practices.
