Qualifications

• 4+ years post-qualification experience in NLP and ML systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Databricks.
• Experience with classification, NLP, search, information retrieval, named entity recognition, deep learning, or generative models.

Responsibilities

• Focus on content classification use cases leveraging traditional NLP to LLMs and generative models.
• Investigate scalable methods for Scribd, Inc. problems.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers and ML Data Engineers on cross-functional projects.
• Utilize algorithms from Scikit-learn, NumPy, PyTorch and third-party LLM APIs.
• Process massive data with Python, SQL and Spark.
• Document approaches and results clearly for stakeholders.
