Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Scientist I to join the DISCO CPT team in Culver City, CA. You will partner with Product and Engineering to drive experimentation and advanced analytics, building causal and predictive models to inform strategic decisions and improve customer engagement.

The role focuses on scalable analytics, self-service insights, and translating business questions into science projects while collaborating with stakeholders to advance AM technology investments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software experience
• 2+ years of data/research scientist, statistician or quantitative analyst in an internet-based company with complex and big data sources experience
• 1+ years of creating or contributing to mathematical textbooks, research papers, or educational content experience
• Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience in STEM

Responsabilités

• Data Scientist I will be a thought partner to Product and Engineering through experimentation, statistical modeling and advanced analytics
• Conceptualize and drive strategic growth areas: app performance, latency experimentation, Gen AI initiatives, and product excellence
• Bridge science, analytics, and engineering to deliver solutions informing strategic decisions on Amazon technology investments and long-term business performance
• Drive experimentation, measurement efficiency tooling, and ROI tracking for AM leadership
• Build and maintain causal models to understand customer sentiment and its impact on engagement/retention
• Develop structural and predictive models using data science workflows to deliver measurable customer results
• Lead strategic initiatives across visual and voice experiences, experimentation and customer retention stakeholders
