Job summary

HUMAN is seeking a Data Scientist to support end-to-end fraud detection from requirements to production deployment. The role spans statistical research, model development, and optimization of data/ML infrastructure to protect the internet and fight fraud.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams and contribute to scalable, reliable data pipelines while applying best practices in software development and experimentation.

Qualifications

• Experience solving large-scale data-intensive problems in production systems.
• Fluent in Python and SQL with familiarity of related libraries/tools.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and ML techniques.
• Experience with SDLC, version control, unit testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Analysts to improve bot detection and ML infrastructure.
• Research and experiment with latest detection frameworks in cyber security and fraud.
• Advance Data Science best practices in detection and modeling.
• Review colleagues’ work before launching new detection rules/algorithms and monitor anomalies.
