Job summary

HUMAN is seeking a Data Scientist for its SightlineEnterprise Research and Detection team to defend against cybercrime. You will support the full fraud-fighting cycle—from gathering requirements to deploying statistical detection techniques in production, working at the intersection of data, tech, and business.

The role requires solving large-scale data problems, fluent Python and SQL skills, and strong OO development.

Qualifications

• Experience solving large-scale, data-intensive problems in production systems.
• Ability to explain different statistical modeling approaches and ship code.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with debugging proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Analysts to improve bot detection and ML infrastructure.
• Research and experiment with detection frameworks and ML tooling.
• Support best practices and DS standards in detection and modeling.
• Review peers' work before launching new rules/algorithms and participate in code health days.
• Develop software tooling to automate tasks and accelerate fraud detection.
