LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist – Journeyman to join our team supporting the Army’s ammunition planning and resupply mission. You will develop, test, and refine data-driven analytics and ML models to improve forecasts and dashboards used for readiness.
You will collaborate with logisticians and Government stakeholders, translate complex questions into analytical solutions, and contribute to reproducible workflows in Python and SQL.
The Data Scientist – Journeyman will support the Army's ammunition planning and resupply mission through the development, sustainment, and refinement of data-driven analytics and machine learning models. This role will work within a team to maintain and enhance ML-driven demand forecasts, support dashboard metrics in Army Vantage, and contribute to workflow automation that improves ammunition distribution efficiency and unit readiness.
