Job summary

Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is seeking a Data Scientist Associate to join the Data Science team in Anchorage. You will work with the Data Scientist to support understanding and implementing stakeholder goals, determining how data can be used to drive decisions.

You will help develop data pipelines, perform exploratory and statistical analyses, and contribute to the deployment and monitoring of analytical models, sharing meaningful insights with peers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree requirement in health informatics, data science, statistics, math, public health or CS; or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of Data Science experience including data analytics, modeling, visualization, governance, feature engineering and statistical methods.

Responsibilities

• Support predictive data modeling processes and develop data pipelines.
• Perform exploratory analyses and contribute to deployment and monitoring of models.
• Share insights and recommendations with team, peers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Scientist and data science team to meet stakeholder goals.
