Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking a Data Scientist to translate business needs into descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. You will source, integrate, and prep large datasets, build dashboards, and advise on data best practices while collaborating with clients and IT teams to inform decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history, and a strong foundation in statistics, econometrics, and AI/ML methods.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience translating stakeholder needs into analytics solutions.
• Proficiency with data sources, data quality, and dashboarding.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex business problems using statistical or AI/ML methods.
• Develop, test, and maintain analytics and reporting pipelines.
• Guide data manipulation and source selection for decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver insights.
• Create visualizations that communicate results clearly.
• Mentor and share analytics practices across the bank.
