Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking a senior BI professional to lead end-to-end BI projects, turning data into actionable insights and mentoring team members. The role focuses on designing dashboards with Tableau and Power BI, managing multiple data initiatives, and driving data governance across the organization.

The position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of data quality assurance, data analysis and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle for BI solutions: requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Design and build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI
• Manage multiple concurrent data and reporting projects
• Translate business needs into data warehouse and data mart requirements
• Source and integrate data from diverse systems, ensuring quality standards and resolving data flow issues
• Ensure data integrity through validation, cleansing, and audits; escape issues as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in partnership with project teams and business units
• Provide ongoing user support for deployed BI solutions
• Deliver analytical support to leadership, including performance reporting and ad hoc analysis
• Consult on data manipulation and analytics best practices
• Mentor junior staff and interns; provide technical guidance to the broader team
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging BI/analytics tools and practices
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen data integrity and analytics capabilities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Lead data and analytics governance and practices to ensure data quality, robust tools, and repeatable and sustainable processes
