Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) in Northern Virginia seeks a Data Scientist with TS/SCI and Polygraph to support mission-critical data analysis, delivering insights that guide production, resources, and personnel decisions.

Responsibilities include building Tableau dashboards, preprocessing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data quality, and documenting methods for stakeholders; on-site work only.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related)
  • 5 Years of experience in Data Science or Analytics roles or a highly related field
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics with proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and SQL querying
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Python or R programming with libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with time-series data analysis and producing data visualizations

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance data graphics, interactive dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau to communicate insights effectively.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into meaningful data-driven solutions.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making related to production, resources, and personnel.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality across all analyses and visualizations.
  • Document methodologies, processes, and insights in clear, concise formats for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay current with emerging data analysis and visualization trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality and impact of deliverables.

Data Scientist - TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Why This is an Exciting Role:

BI&A is seeking Data Scientist with Tableau expertise to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the Sponsor's mission by providing data analysis services that deliver actionable insights. Your work will enable the Sponsor’s customers to make informed decisions related to production, resource allocation, and personnel management.

Position Roles & Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to process and analyze complex datasets, identifying key challenges and opportunities for the Sponsor’s customers.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field)
  • 5 Years of experience in Data Science or Analytics roles or ahighly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and SQL querying
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Python or R programming with relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with time-series data analysis and producing data visualizations
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Tableau Prep
  • Experience using Splunk, including automated processes in the Sponsor’s environment
  • Experience using Sponsor’s enterprise services, security controls, and data management practices

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$125,000 – $230,000
