Responsibilities

  • Build data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training pipelines.
  • Leverage cloud platforms for scalable development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to align AI/ML solutions with goals.
  • Stay current on AI/ML advances and integrate them where appropriate.
  • Document research methods and findings in reports, GitHub repos, and publications.

AI/ML Engineer - TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Why This is an Exciting Role:

BI&A is seeking highly motivated and skilled AI/ML Engineers to join our team and contribute to innovative artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) initiatives. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, evaluate, and deploy advanced AI/ML models and ensembles across multiple domains, including generative AI, classification, prediction, computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning. This role will also involve leveraging expertise in AI/ML algorithms, software development, and cloud computing to support the Sponsor’s strategic initiatives.

Position Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and ensembles to address complex challenges in domains such as generative AI, classification, prediction, computer vision, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance evaluation of AI/ML models, ensuring robustness, scalability, and ethical considerations in line with best practices.
  • Develop and implement pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training using structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Leverage cloud computing platforms and frameworks for scalable AI/ML model development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders, to align AI/ML solutions with organizational objectives and mission requirements.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools, incorporating emerging trends into research and development efforts.
  • Document research protocols, methodologies, and findings in formats such as technical reports, GitHub repositories, and analytic publications.
  • Provide technical guidance and AI/ML engineering expertise to support the transition of prototypes into production environments.
Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5 Years of experience on AI/ML or Data Science or highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
  • 5 years of experience with Python or R programming languages for AI/ML development
  • 5 years of experience with Cloud computing services from major providers, including experience with cloud-based AI/ML development and deployment
  • 5 years of experience with AI/ML model development and deployment, including model tuning, experimentation, validation, and benchmarking
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with AI/ML model explainability and interpretability techniques
  • Familiarity with Sponsor's enterprise services, security controls, and data management practices
  • Experience with front-end web development frameworks, such as Flask
  • Experience with Tableau to produce visualizations and dashboards
  • Experience with verification and validation test benches
  • Deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
  • Version control systems, such as GitHub

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$160,000 - $250,000
