Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in UI/UX Design or Development or in a highly related technical field.
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
  • 5 years of experience with user research methodologies including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • 5 years of experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma and Axure
  • Knowledge of human-centered design principles and design thinking
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand end-user needs, behaviors, and challenges, translating findings into actionable insights
  • Design and prototype intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences, incorporating human-centered design principles and best practices
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into Sponsor applications
  • Develop and present comprehensive UI/UX design strategies, wireframes, and mockups to enhance application usability and functionality
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and interface specifications, to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Perform usability testing to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on designs to meet user expectations
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX design to continuously enhance design methodologies and deliver innovative solutions

UI/UX Designer - TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Why This is an Exciting Role:

BI&A is seeking highly motivated and skilled UI/UX Designers that leverage expertise in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, human-centered design principles, and user research to develop intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences. Develop and deliver comprehensive UI/UX design strategies, research initiatives, and detailed development plans to enhance the functionality and usability of the Sponsor’s applications.

Position Roles & Responsibilities

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) or technical area
  • 5 years of experience in UI/UX Design or Development or in a highly related technical field.
Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
  • 5 years of experience working with user research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate user experience.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality design solutions.
  • 5 years of experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Axure, to develop and test design concepts.
  • Human-centered design principles and design thinking to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to effectively communicate design requirements to development teams.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles and mobile-specific design considerations
  • Familiarity with Sponsor's existing design systems and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with Sponsor's overall visual identity
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design, such as AR/VR and voice UI, to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities
  • Experience with usability testing and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions and iterate on design solutions

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
