Location: Fully remote (EST working hours)

Duration: 1 year extending contract - long term

Pay: $55-$65/hour

Responsibilities

• Use Python and SQL to analyze large, complex healthcare datasets.
• Build, enhance, and evaluate predictive and machine learning models.
• Perform statistical, root-cause, and hypothesis-driven analysis to understand member behaviors and outcomes.
• Turn analytical findings into recommendations that support short- and medium-term business decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant data science or analytics experience, including applicable internship experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on predictive modeling and machine learning experience.
• Strong statistical and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Experience within healthcare, including payer, provider, pharmaceutical, or related environments.
• Experience with a cloud analytics platform such as GCP/BigQuery, AWS, or similar.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medicare, Stars, population health, member experience, or clinical analytics experience.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to productionize models.
• Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization experience
