You will mentor a high‑performing team of data scientists and analysts, partner with engineers and product managers, and shape scalable data pipelines and metrics to support product development across the business.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., CS, Engineering, Math, Statistics).
• Extensive experience in data science, algorithmic engineering, or machine learning.
• 3+ years managing and mentoring data science, data engineering, and analytics teams.
• Experience with statistical software (R, Python, MATLAB) and SQL.
• Experience building data science models (Regression, Trees, clustering).

Responsibilities

• Work with large, complex data sets and solve non-routine analysis problems.
• Build and manage a high-performing data science and analytics team.
• Develop analysis pipelines for scalable insights.
• Develop knowledge of TikTok data structures and metrics.
• Partner with engineering and product teams on cross-functional measurements and modeling.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
