Data Science Analytics Manager (Auction-based Digital Ad Pricing)

Opportunity to make an immediate impact and take ideas from conception through production!

You will lead data science analytics efforts in support of a new product within a critical LOB. You will initially function as an individual contributor, with a strong focus on problem-solving and developing pricing strategies for a new auction-based banner ad model which allows vendors to either purchase digital ads outright or to compete for purchase with other vendors in an online auction format. You will be tasked with determining optimal pricing structures to support the success of this product. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Strategy, & Engineering. As the product scales and achieves success, there will be an opportunity to build & lead a dedicated team focused on this portfolio.

This is an 18-month contract (potential to extend or convert) with an Atlanta-based client.

This is a 100% remote opportunity.

Youmust be based in the US & work EST hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive business growth for new product initiative
• Manage project portfolios and oversee end-to-end project execution
• Develop & refine bid strategies while optimizing digital ad placements
• Improve campaign performance to increase revenue across digital channels
• Prioritize tasks & provide clear, concise project summaries
• Create dashboards periodically to visualize key metrics
• Extract & analyze data to build predictive / analytical models

REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s Degree in a related discipline
• 5+ years in data science analytics, including ML, Random Forest, Neural Networks, LSTM, Forecasting, & Data Modeling
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, & Tableau
• Experience in auction-based pricing strategies for digital ad platforms
• 1+ years leadership experience, including hiring, mentoring, performance & code reviews, etc.
• Experience in applying statistical methods to uncover actionable insights & address complex business challenges
• Strong communicator, able explain technical concepts to technical / non-technical audiences
