Gilbane Building is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead a team applying advanced analytics, statistics, ML, causal inference and AI to solve complex business problems. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and stakeholder collaboration to move models and insights into production.

You will help the organization understand drivers, predict outcomes, and translate complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations in a massively collaborative environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; master's preferred
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• 2+ years of people management experience leading data scientists or related roles
• PhD preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coach data scientists through technical direction and career guidance
• Set standards for analytical quality, experimentation, and responsible AI usage
• Guide statistical analysis, predictive modeling, feature engineering, and data mining
• Review model assumptions and results interpretation to ensure reliable outputs
• Prioritize portfolio based on business value and feasibility
• Build trusted relationships with business leaders, Data Engineering, BI and IT
