Job summary

Publicis Groupe in New York is seeking a hands-on Data Scientist to support the analytical work of the Vice President, Data Science. You will turn inputs into rigorous analyses, models, and deliverables for life sciences clients.

You will work across HCP targeting, patient and audience analytics, and ML model development to support marketing activation and measurement, collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting your work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data science, predictive analytics, or a related quantitative discipline, with life sciences exposure a plus.
• Working proficiency in Python and/or R for ML and statistics, and solid SQL for querying large datasets.
• Experience building ML models with exposure to production deployment.
• Strong communication and data storytelling to translate findings for commercial stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in an ambiguous environment and taking ownership with limited direction.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Mathematics or related field; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and refine ML models and predictive analytics solutions for life sciences clients.
• Contribute across the ML pipeline (data acquisition, feature engineering, model training, validation) with guidance for production deployment.
• Work within multi-source data environments (claims, prescribing, real-world, consumer data) and flag data gaps.
• Maintain data quality and reproducibility with well-documented code and analyses.
• Collaborate with stakeholder teams to translate analyses into client-ready recommendations.
