DriveTime is seeking a Data Science intern for Summer 2027. The role offers hands-on experience across Marketing, Lending, Indirect Lending and Warranties with Python, SQL and analytics tools.

We require a Bachelors/Masters student graduating 12/2027–05/2028, GPA 3.5+, and capability in Python; SQL/Tableau/Excel knowledge is expected. Internship runs 11 weeks from May 2027 to August 2027 at Tempe, AZ and Dallas, TX on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's student graduating between Dec 2027 and May 2028
• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Physics, CS or related
• GPA 3.5 or higher; read/write in Python; working knowledge of SQL/Tableau/Excel

We are looking for a skilled Data Science intern for our Summer 2027 internship program. Our Data science teams here at the DriveTime Family of Brands support several different business verticals including; Marketing, Lending, Indirect Lending and Warranties. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience working with cutting‑edge technologies.

A successful candidate should have experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and other statistical or analytical coding tools, along with a strong understanding of the full Data Science life cycle.

The data science interns will be responsible for things like:

• Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decision‑making processes
• Assist in developing and implementing data models, algorithms, and predictive models
• Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to extract knowledge and patters from data
• Assist with developing innovative ways to increase data intelligence within the business
• Present results of analysis to leaders and colleagues

The Specifics.

• Bachelors or master's student with a graduation date between December 2027 – May 2028
• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline
• You have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Able to read and write in Python
• Working knowledge in SQL, Tableau and Excel
• An understanding of the Data Science Life Cycle
• Our internship program is 11 weeks starting May 2027 – August 2027
• Internships will be base our of our Home offices in Tempe, AZ and Dallas, TX
• You can expect a regular on‑site schedule; Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
• Relocation not provided for internship
