Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate (junior/senior) or graduate degree in data science, statistics, or related field.
• Experience with Python or R and basic SQL.
• Coursework or project work in statistics, regression, ML, or applied analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication with business analytics interest.
• Interest in insurance, financial services, or risk analytics.
• Familiarity with version control and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Support exploratory data analysis for pricing, underwriting, claims, or operational analytics.
• Build or enhance repeatable reporting outputs such as model monitoring summaries and distribution analyses.
• Document modeling datasets, feature logic, assumptions, limitations, and data lineage.
• Contribute to code cleanup, reusable functions, testing scripts, and version-controlled project organization.
• Shadow team members to understand model outputs in pricing and profitability analysis.
