Job summary

Cresta in Northern Kentucky is seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to join our team. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to solve meaningful problems using Python and ML techniques, building intuition from real-world data.

You will collect, clean, and preprocess data, perform exploratory analyses, develop models, and create visualizations. This internship offers mentorship, hands-on experience with cloud platforms, and exposure to customer-facing

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in CS, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience writing Python code.
• Strong interest in AI, ML, or software engineering.
• Basic understanding of statistics and ML concepts.
• Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Experience with SQL and working with databases.

Responsibilities

• Build and evaluate machine learning models under guidance.

What We're Looking For:

• Knowledge of version control (Git)
• Exposure to big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
