Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Math or related analytical field.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)
• Able to work part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week)
• Able to commute to the designated work location in-person per Xcel Energy’s hybrid policy
• Familiar with SQL and Python
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms
• Experience with data visualization tools like Posit or Power BI
• Understanding of concepts related to managing and analyzing large datasets
• Ability to translate business goals to technical expertise
• Preferred: Databricks
• Preferred: Application Development skills
• Preferred: Some Python and SQL coding skills
