Job summary

Jobtailor in Tempe, AZ is seeking an on-site data analytics intern to conduct analyses, build models, and present insights to leadership. You will work across Marketing, Lending, Indirect Lending, and Warranties verticals, gaining hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, and Excel.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student with graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related field.
GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Proficient in reading/writing Python.
Working knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
Understanding of the Data Science Life Cycle.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication; visa sponsor not required.
Successful completion of background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decision making.
Assist in developing and implementing data models, algorithms, and predictive models.
Use statistical and machine learning techniques to extract knowledge from data.
Help develop new ways to increase data intelligence within the business.
Present analysis results to leaders and colleagues.
Gain hands-on experience supporting Marketing, Lending, Indirect Lending, and Warranties verticals.
Work on-site Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, from Tempe or Dallas offices.
