Citizens invites you to join a 10-week Data Science Graduate Internship. You will split time between partnering with host teams and cross-functional collaboration on real-world projects, strengthening analytics capabilities across the bank.

You will work on statistical modeling, ML, NLP, computer vision, and analytics, with exposure to end-to-end project life cycles and capstone presentations. Hybrid work is expected across multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or PhD) in statistics, data science, mathematics, economics, analytics, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with raw and prepared datasets, data cleaning and preprocessing.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to understand project goals and data sources.
• Participate in data preparation, EDA, data transformation, and handling temporal data.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends and insights.
• Apply statistical techniques including model development and validation.
• Conduct hands-on analysis using text mining and quantitative methods.
• Present findings and recommendations to peers and leaders in a capstone presentation.
