Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a Risk Assessment Vice President to lead data risk reviews across the enterprise, coordinating with stakeholders to solidify governance and controls. You will guide the Data Risk Stripe, define metrics, and ensure timely CRA delivery to governance bodies.

You will collaborate across the 3 lines of defense, drive continuous improvement, and leverage CORE platform knowledge to strengthen data risk reporting and controls governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years in financial services risk management, controls, audit, or compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Risk and risk assessment.
• Ability to design and evaluate a Risk & Control Self-Assessment with business partners.
• Understanding regulatory expectations for large financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for the Data Risk Stripe and related assessments.
• Identify and map KRIs and KPIs for the assessment.
• Support development and redesign of Data Risk Taxonomy.
• Coordinate quarterly risk assessments and support 1LOD resources.
• Administer Risk Assessment Suite module and resolve challenges with 2LOD.
• Support identification of CRA risks and ensure firmwide consistency.
• Engage with Community of Practice to calibrate risk levels.
• Contribute to reporting of CRAs to governance committees and Board.
• Understand FW Data Risk Management Standards and data governance controls.
• Partner with CDAO Control Managers to ensure data quality and reporting.
• Verify controls reflect CORE platform standards across LOB/CF.
