Job summary

WingSwept is seeking a Database & Reporting Analyst in Garner, NC to strengthen data, reporting, and database capabilities for the CMTS across cloud-hosted and on-premise deployments. You will work with advanced SQL, data migration, and performance tuning to support government agencies investigating fraud and abuse.

Qualifications

• Pass Department of Defense and corporate background checks; US citizenship required.
• High school diploma; secondary education preferred.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize complex MSSQL queries.
• Experience with relational data models and mapping data between systems.
• Experience with data migration projects from analysis through validation.
• Familiarity with database performance tuning, configuration, and security best practices.
• Three+ years of IT or related experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including gathering requirements directly from customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Reporting & Report Development: Design and build complex custom reports using MSSQL queries for internal and external customers
• Requirements Gathering & Customer Collaboration: Meet directly with customers to gather reporting and statistical needs
• Data Migration: Analyze data from external and legacy systems to understand structure and quality
• Database Performance & Administration: Monitor and optimize MSSQL database performance
• Additional Responsibilities: Document data models, migration processes, and reporting procedures for team continuity
