Job summary

AssistRx, Inc. is seeking a QA Lead of Data and Reporting to head testers on the Quality Assurance team and oversee the quality of data and reporting systems for our clients.

You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and developers to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data pipelines and reports. The role emphasizes designing testing strategies, supervising test plans, and producing metrics and status reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in QA/testing with 3+ years as a lead.
• 4+ years testing data, reporting, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong SQL and data querying; complex queries for validation scripts.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling/loading/transformation.
• Experience with qTest and JIRA QA tools.
• Excel proficiency to compare QA SQL outputs with developer data.
• Able to translate requirements into test scenarios and data loads.
• Experience with data transfer agreements and testing in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and train QA team members, set goals and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and implement testing strategies for data and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and analysts to translate requirements into test plans.
• Review data processes, test plans, results, and delivery plans to identify risks.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for data/ reporting systems.
• Provide regular status reports on testing and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on reports and data pipelines.
