The RPMI Data Quality Reviewer will play a crucial role in daily remote patient monitoring and delivering high quality monthly summary reports for the RPMI service line. The DQR role is to monitor and document vitals collected through remote devices, receive vital information daily, view the resident in the RPMI portal, and document findings. Through set parameters the DQR will document on a resident’s vitals as normal or escalate to a team lead if findings are outside set parameters
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Initiates monthly summary reports on patients' health conditions based on the collected data, identifying medical changes or abnormalities for NP clinical review and treatment plan.
· Documents vitals collected through remote devices at specified cadence.
· Notifies Team lead when HR/RR vitals are observed outside of the set parameters
· Adhere to all established policy/protocol of the department and workflow.
· Meets established standards for productivity as assigned.
· Protects patient information and adheres to the standard of confidentiality.
· Contributes and participates in continuous quality improvement activities.
· All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Some college/technical education
· Minimum of 1 year intermediate health care data analytics skills, medical chart audit, and/or clinical documentation review.
· Proficiency in navigating electronic health records.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to understand and interpret basic math logic such as averages and graphs
PREFERRED SKILLS
· Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
· Ability to work collaboratively, be attentive to detail and maintain a positive attitude.
· Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
