This is a US-based position. We are recruiting a pipeline of coaches for upcoming business opportunities.

Job Description

We are seeking a part-time, casual career coach based in the Chicago area to support our relocation and outplacement solutions. The role involves assisting employees and their families with relocating, acclimating to new cities, and finding employment, as well as supporting employees in outplacement services in their job search.

The Coach works one-on-one with employees of our client companies, supporting them during relocation or job search processes. The Coach utilizes IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology and also supports spouses or partners of relocating employees with job search assistance.

This is a part-time, casual (hours vary), remote position, approximately 10-20 hours per week (no guaranteed hours).

• Establish rapport with employees and motivate them to achieve goals
• Guide employees through coaching processes and milestones
• Advise on career development, transition issues, and options
• Maintain electronic records of services provided
• Monitor progress, provide job search skills coaching, and address personal issues affecting careers

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in job search strategy or career coaching across various industries and levels
• Experience with resume writing, interview prep, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, salary negotiations, personal branding, and other job search aspects
• Currently residing in the Chicago area with knowledge of local job markets
• Experience with virtual coaching
• Experience navigating VISA challenges and career continuation scenarios is a plus
• Proficiency with technology, high-speed internet, and a headset with microphone (remote work)

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in human behavior, business, or related field (preferred)
• Coaching certification or training (highly regarded)
• Personal relocation experience to a different city
