Job summary

Oakton College seeks a Data Quality & Reporting Analyst to validate and report student-level data for state and federal reporting. Focus areas include enrollment, demographics, completion, transfer, and outcomes, excluding financial reporting.

Under Institutional Research supervision, you’ll support ICCB, IPEDS, NSC reporting, and grant data needs, emphasizing accuracy, documentation, and equity in reporting. Collaboration across offices will drive data quality and institutional accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; data analysis coursework preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of data experience in higher education or public sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel and office tools; willingness to learn data standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review student-level data for ICCB, IPEDS, and NSC reporting.
• Validate, reconcile, and perform quality checks on datasets like ID, E1, A1, A2.
• Document reporting rules and data definitions for consistency across cycles.
• Respond to data questions and support grants with accurate tracking of cohorts.
• Assist with analytics on enrollment, completion, transfer, and student outcomes.
