Job summary

BCT Partners, LLC is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support data management, reporting, and customer service for Head Start grant recipients. The role focuses on ensuring data quality, accessibility, and governance to aid program oversight and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will perform data validation, cleansing, and metadata management while collaborating with stakeholders to improve operations and outcomes for children and families. Onsite work offered in multiple cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information-related field or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications in data management or information governance are a plus.
• 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in data management or related fields.
• Experience with data quality assurance, governance, and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Perform data validation, cleansing, standardization, and quality assurance to maintain accurate datasets.
• Review and resolve data discrepancies across systems and repositories.
• Maintain metadata, records, and documentation per governance standards.
• Support data management best practices, standards, and workflows.
• Use Excel, Smartsheet, and other tools to track and report data activities.
• Run basic SQL queries to validate data and generate reports.
• Assist with document management systems and electronic records repositories.
• Develop process documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve processes.
• Support records retention and compliance initiatives.
