Job summary

BCT Partners is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support data management, reporting, workflow tracking, and customer service for Head Start grants. You will help ensure the accuracy, quality, and accessibility of grant-related data used to support program oversight and decision-making.

You will maintain data processes, monitor workflows, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve data quality, streamline operations, and support positive outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3 years of relevant post-baccalaureate experience in data management.
• Experience with data quality assurance, governance, or enterprise data management.
• Experience with large datasets and document repositories.
• Knowledge of data governance and metadata concepts.
• Basic SQL skills to run queries and validate data.
• Proficiency with Excel/Smartsheet for data tracking and reporting.
• Strong communication and collaboration, including in remote teams.
• Commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Validate, cleanse, and standardize data to ensure accuracy.
• Review and resolve data discrepancies across systems.
• Maintain metadata, records, and documentation per policy.
• Support data governance initiatives and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve processes.
