Job summary

ApartmentIQ is seeking a Data Quality Lead to oversee data quality across our products. You will investigate issues, perform root-cause analyses, and improve quality-control processes while partnering with Product and Engineering to enhance tools and AI-powered workflows.

The role includes hiring and developing a team of data quality analysts as the function expands, with remote-first collaboration across the United States.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data quality, data operations, analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with SQL, spreadsheets, and BI/reporting tools.
• Experience improving operational processes and quality controls.
• Comfort with automation and AI-assisted tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance hands-on work with team leadership and process development.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of data quality issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with Product/Engineering on corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain data quality controls and procedures.
• Experiment with AI-assisted workflows to improve data quality operations.
• Identify and test tools to improve team efficiency and accuracy.
• Establish reporting and metrics for data quality and team performance.
• Identify recurrent issues and opportunities for process improvements.
• Prioritize data quality workflows to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate findings and trends to stakeholders across the organization.
• Build, manage, and develop a team of data quality analysts as needed.
• Maintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures.
